Fabulous blogger review

Tara, a blogger from Austin, Texas posted a fabulous review of GoGirl earlier this week. Check it out!

One day after visiting the 1000th disgusting bathroom of my lifetime, I thought "this should be easier." I had an idea for something grande. An idea that would save all the poor women of America from having to get up close and personal with the icky toilet seats. To put it as delicately as possible, my normal bathroom procedure when I'm out is by no means quick and involves a lot of toilet paper. Poor trees. I feel like in the past I've needed to line the toilet seats with several layers of toilet paper to feel safe enough to even hover. I'm not an extreme germaphobe but I do easily get grossed out by bathrooms. Especially when they're anything less than the spitting image of sparkling.

So imagine my delight (and disappointment that I hadn't thought of it first!) when I was searching for a way for women to pee more effectively on Google one day and came across GoGirl's Female Urination Device. I pondered over it for months and then the opportunity arose to do a review on it. Yay! To put it mildly, I'm thrilled to death that I'm getting to try it out for you all. At first glance you may find it somewhat intimidating. I promise you, it's not. It's simple, easy-to-clean and a blast to use! This is a must-have for my purse these days. It's very small, discreet and incredible easy to clean with soap and water.

GoGirl is great to have in every day life but imagine the possibilities as far as outdoor activities. No more getting your bum in the bushes as you "pop-a-squat" in the woods. It's made out of "flexible, medical grade silicone" which can even be boiled! That's a hearty little device right there. You have the choice of using one occasionally for camping trips and such and throwing it away after use or using it consistently and cleaning it. Your choice!

If you decide to give a GoGirl a try, please let me know what you think!

GoGirl heads to Phoenix for Ultimate Women's Expo

Hello Ladies! I hope everyone is off to a great beginning of fall. From this part of the country (Minnesota!) - colors are in full bloom, well, actually, with all the winds, many of the leaves are in piles along side the streets, but STILL, my most favorite time of year! Not too hot, not too cold!

I'm so excited to share with all of you that GoGirl continues to grow at a steady pace and is proudly on the shelves in over 750 U.S. Retail stores and shipping to 28 countries. Each day we feel like we are getting one step closer to the big guys, major chain stores, (Target, Walgreens, CVS, etc) as well as major health care facilities. Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN has taken us in, seeing all the benefits that GoGirl can bring to all their orthopedic patients (this truly is a life savor for those who've had hip/knee surgery!).

I will be bringing GoGirl to the Phoenix Ultimate Women's Expo, Oct 22-23. If any of you are in the area, please do stop by! I hear this is a major women's shopping extravaganza!

Also, thanks to everyone who has contacted me sharing their GoGirl "stories" and those who are just simply excited about the product! I love hearing from all of you - I never get tired of talking about it! Really!

Thanks for all of your support to help get GoGirl up and off the ground. I couldn't have done this alone!

Hope to see you in Phoenix!

Cheers! :)

GoGirl featured on KSTP-5 (ABC)

GoGirl was featured on KSTP's "Minnesota Made" series earlier this week:

MN Made Product Means No Bathroom, No Problem

It may sound strange, but it has found success. A product that allows women to stand up and use the bathroom was created right here in Minnesota.

It was started by an Edina couple who found a niche. Their product, 'GoGirl' allows women who are active such as hunters, fishermen and runners to go to the bathroom standing up.

The couple won't reveal exact sales numbers, but say word of mouth about the product has caused sales to skyrocket. It is now sold in more than 400 stores and in 28 countries.

With the help of a Minnetonka doctor, Sarah Dillion and her husband, Tim started selling Go Girl on their website in 2009.

Dillion says good marketing and financial people are key when launching a new product.
